Fruit laddus contain essential vitamins and minerals and also good fat required for the body. The taste of fruits with roasted flour and dry fruits is mouth watering. Dry fruit laddu is a traditional sweet and adding fresh fruits to it enhances the taste. Jaggery is used instead of sugar, which has various health benefits.
Prep time: 30 min
- 3 tsp maida
- 3 tsp wheat flour
- 3 tsp urad dhal powder
- 6 tsp jaggery
- 3 tsp ghee
- 1 chikoo
- ½ apple, grated
- 2 tsp chopped nuts
- ¼ cup milk
Roast maida, wheat flour, urad dhal powder in ghee till you get a nice aroma and they turn light brown.
Add powdered jaggery. Mash chikoo and grate apple. Switch off the stove and mix well with the powders.
Make small balls while adding very little milk only if necessary. Fruit laddus are now ready to eat.
Various other fresh fruits of your choice can also be added.
