This recipe is sweet variation of sevai. This is liked by children and all who has a sweet tooth. It can be done with jaggery or sugar. Try this sweet and add it in your breakfast menu.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5-10 minutes 1 module
Yields: One serving for 4-5 persons
- Rice flour 2 cups
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Water 1 cup
- Ghee a spoon
Take rice in a flat vessel.
Boil water in a vessel and dissolve jaggery in it and add one spoon ghee.
When water boils well remove the vessel and pour it over the rice flour and mix with flat ladle. Mix well and leave it for 5-10 minutes.
Heat water in idli cooker.
Put handful of dough into the murukku acchu and press it on idli plates.
Place the plates in the idli cooker and cook for 5-10 minutes.
Sweet sevai is ready to serve. Serve it hot or with hot milk or coconut milk.
