This is another variation recipe of basic sevai.  It is good for digestion and for respiratory system as it has pepper and jeera.  Try this variation recipe.

Preparation time: 3-5 minutes
Cooking time: 2 minutes
Yields: One serve for 4-5 persons


  • Black pepper powder 1-2 spoon
  • Jeera powder 2-3 spoon
  • Ghee 1 spoon
  • Salt to taste


Gently separate sevai with hands.

Heat ghee in a kadai.

Add in pepper and jeera powder and salt and fry for a minute or two

Switch off stove and mix in sevai and mix well but gently.

Serve hot.
