Oatmeal can be considered as the ultimate breakfast. Oatmeal can lower levels of bad cholesterol and keep your heart healthy. There are many ways to cook oats in tasty way. Here is a yummy pancake recipe, which can be had with honey or chutney of your choice.

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • ½ tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • Oil to drizzle


Grind oats in a blender. To this, add 1 whole egg, yogurt, baking powder, sugar, salt and water. Mix them well in a blender to get a smooth batter.

Pour the batter on a hot tava and cook on both sides using some oil. Serve them hot topped with butter and honey.
