Chocolate pudding is a rich, creamy dessert with chocolate flavor. The texture is like custard and tastes best when chilled. You can enjoy a perfect homemade pudding following this simple recipe.

  • 150 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp gelatin
  • 9 tbsp castor sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp honey
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup cream
  • 2 tbsp grated chocolate


Heat ¼ cup of water. Dissolve gelatin in it. Keep aside. Take yolks, sugar and milk in a bowl. Boil water in a pan and place the bowl slightly above the boiling water and whip till the yolk mixture becomes thick. This takes time.

Mix together gelatin mixture and whipped yolks along with cocoa powder and honey. Beat cream vigorously for 4-5 minutes. Mix with the egg mixture and transfer contents to another bowl.

Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Sprinkle chocolate on top and serve in small bowls.
