Aloo chaat or potato chaat is an extremely popular snack recipe. This spicy potato chaat is particularly for potato lovers. The crispy potatoes with dash of lemon and masalas leave you asking for more.

- 100 g potatoes
- 1 onion
- 3 green chillies
- 1 tbsp fresh coriander
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Ginger juliennes for garnish (ginger cut into long, thin strips)
- Oil for frying
Add half tsp lemon juice and a pinch of salt to the ginger juliennes. Refrigerate it for 15 minutes. Cut potatoes into cubes.
Heat oil and fry the potato cubes till golden. Remove the excess oil and put the crispy potatoes in a bowl.
Now toss them well with finely chopped onions, green chillies and coriander. Also add red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala and remaining lemon juice.
Mix well and garnish with ginger juliennes.
