Aloo Bhaji is a quick and easy snack to prepare. It is prepared by deep frying the slices of potato, coated with gram flour and rice flour along with spices. The addition of rice flour makes the aloo bhaji crispy and delicious. A pinch of baking soda is added to the batter to make the bhaji fluffy.

Ingredients
- Potatoes: 3
- Gram flour: 1 cup
- Rice flour: 1/4 cup
- Oil: 1.5 cup
- Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1teaspoon
- Ajwain: 1/2teaspoon
Method
1. Take gram flour into a bowl, to that add rice flour, ajwain, chilli powder, salt, baking soda, coriander powder and cumin powder; mix well and add enough water to make thick consistency batter without lumps. Because of the rice flour in the batter, the bhaji will be crispy.
2. Take potatoes and cut into slices. Heat oil in a pan, take potato slice and dip it in the batter, lift it for few seconds, the extra batter will goes down and put it in the oil. Put all the potato slices into oil following the same process and fry them.
3. Now the hot aloo bhaji is ready to serve.
